MAA Buckhead

My experience at Maa Buckhead has been fantastic. The management team is not only professional but also friendly, making the leasing process and any inquiries a breeze. The maintenance team is quick to respond, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly. The amenities also have been a great addition. I find this community to be a wonderful choice for anyone seeking a welcoming and well-maintained living space.

I lived here for 3 years (2019-2022). Like all places, this place has pros and cons. Pros; - location: it is located in the heart of Buckhead Village. I loved being able to walk to grocery store, bars, yoga, etc. there are so many things around you can enjoy. Also, if you have a dog, Garden Hills will make a decent walk. Farmers market on weekends on Peachtree was a plus. - Price: the place is a bit more affordable compared to other apartment complex in the area—at least when I was living there. - natural light: I lived on the 6th floor with south facing windows. I had a ton of natural light. During the winter time, I didn’t even use the heat during the day. You also get a killer sunset. -Amenities: pool, a decent BBQ area, and a dog park which is also shared with the Bryant at BV. - Reserved parking. However you may not get the spot that is convenient to you. Cons: - safety can be an issue, because there are a lot of bars and such. - noise: especially if you are facing Pharr Rd side, it will get pretty loud during the weekend nights (loud cars, people yelling and occasional gun shots) - parking: having guests over can be a hassle because there are limited guest parking and you have to reserve spots for them in advance. Also parking policy changes every 2 months. Hopefully they sorted this out by now. - Sketch neighbors: this one is not really the apartments fault but but there are a lot of people who don’t clean up after their dogs, playing loud music, etc. the worst of all was my downstairs neighbor who had a MJ farm I really enjoyed living here until I had a roach infestation. When my next door neighbor moved out, the cleaners/renovators left some kind of food inside. There was a MAJOR infestation and when they exterminated, they all came over to my unit. I started having pretty serious infestation to the point I didn’t want to live there anymore.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience touring this property. Working in property management myself has widened my eyes a bit to what should be expected during a tour and at a property in general. While the apartment and property was beautiful, the leasing staff did not do their due diligence in making sure that my tour experience was good. I booked an appointment the day prior, and was made to wait for 30 minutes because nobody was available to tour me. When I finally was taken back for a tour, the property manager I believe was not attentive and seemed a bit disorganized, taking phone calls in the middle of conversation, not asking what specifics I need, etc. Lastly, she seemed a bit snarky when I was asking basic questions about noise levels and pest control, and didn't change her attitude until I mentioned my job title. All in all, I probably would have leased had it not been for the energy I received during my time on the property.

This place is BEYOND AMAZING! I stopped here with my sister as she is considering moving to Atlanta. We walked into MAA Buckhead to a very warm welcome and Hershey’s nuggets! Brittany greeted us with a friendly, warm smile. She took the time to listen to my sister’s needs and wants. She provided a wonderful tour of the property. I instantly fell in love with the courtyard. The one bedroom we saw was incredible. The lighting, the updated kitchen, the spacious bedroom were all to die for! I would’ve moved in right then and there if I could! It was so amazing! Thank you, Brittany! Your patience and service was the BEST especially given the fact that we walked in. Thank you!

Resident for 1 year (2022-2023) with my significant other. I’ve noticed a lot of fake reviews so if your looking for a real review: Pros: Located in highly walkable area, price to size is probably the best in the area Cons: Location is across from a dog daycare (not fetch), results in waking up by barking every morning (including weekends) at 7AM if your unit is facing Grandview Ave. (As a dog owner myself, you will not get used to the barking). Since the area is also high traffic, people leave their pets business on the property making the smell unbearable during the summer. Security/Building - the parking gate was constantly broken, and cars were broken into on multiple occasions. Two elevators for the entire complex, and one was usually broken. Trash is often overflowing in the parking deck. Unit fixtures are dated and old (our washer/dryer was a brand from the 80’s and doesn’t even exist anymore) Communication - either lack of/delayed communication for property issues or issues around the area. Whether it be the car break ins or 2 shootings in the area while we were residence, communication on the issues within the day those events occurred would be great. Overall this property is a three star unit, but since they claim they are “luxury” they lose a star. If your looking to save money to buy that house, instead of moving back in with family I would recommend this.
